Jaime Gutierrez

Napa Valley native Jaime Gutierrez was born and raised just North of St. Helena, spending much of his childhood on the Guenoc Ranch. Despite growing up among the vineyards, he initially had little interest in wine.
Jaime’s first job was held at Meadowood Estate in 2010, sparking interest into introduction to the world of hospitality and wine. Jaime began pursuing accounting and wine inventory, his first wine-specific role with Terlato Group. Jaime began to hone his sommelier skills throughout the Napa Valley and Bay Area, working the floor of a variety of restaurants, including Redwood City’s Michelin-starred Selby's.
Returning to the Napa Valley, Jaime spent time at the Michelin three-starred The Restaurant at Meadowood prior to joining The Charter Oak team in 2020 as Captain, moving quickly into a Head Sommelier role. After a brief stint in Oklahoma, he returned to California where he now serves as the Wine and Spirits Director at The Charter Oak.

When Jaime is not on the floor at The Charter Oak, you may find him and his wife Brittanie with their son on the coast, enjoying the beach.
